At a glance
The best men's surgery looks like you, fitter. The goal is a natural, masculine result, a flatter chest, a leaner torso, a defined jawline, with no sign of work. Dr. Sayed plans each procedure around a man's anatomy and a fast return to work and the gym.
Chest
Gynecomastia surgery flattens enlarged male breast tissue for a firmer, masculine chest.
Abdomen and flanks
Male liposuction and body contouring remove stubborn fat from the belly, flanks, and chest.
After weight loss
Skin tightening and body contouring firm the torso after major weight loss.
Face and neck
A male facelift and neck lift restore a sharp jawline while keeping a masculine look.
Non-surgical
Non-surgical options treat smaller concerns when surgery is not yet needed.
One surgeon, one plan
Dr. Sayed combines procedures thoughtfully so you address several areas in one recovery.
Why Dr. Sayed
A good male result is about proportion and restraint, not just removing fat or skin. Dr. Sayed keeps the chest and jawline masculine, the torso lean, and the result natural, so you look fit and rested rather than operated on.
Certified in plastic surgery and general surgery, trained at UCSF and Harvard's Massachusetts General Hospital.

Procedures
You do not need to know which procedure you want before you come in. Part of the consultation is matching the right procedure, or combination, to your goals and anatomy.
Each concern has its own procedure. Here is a quick map of what addresses what for men.
Many men's plans combine two procedures, planned around your safety and a single recovery. Dr. Sayed maps it out with you at the consultation.
Start with the most-requested men's procedure, gynecomastia surgery
Surgical or not
Surgery is the right tool once there is true glandular tissue or loose skin: firm tissue behind the nipple in gynecomastia, hanging skin after weight loss, or fat the gym cannot shift. In those cases a device will not do the job.
Dr. Sayed offers both surgical and non-surgical options, so the recommendation is honest. If a smaller or non-surgical treatment will meet your goal, he will say so.
The reverse is also true. Once tissue or skin has truly changed, no device replaces surgery. Knowing where that line sits is the value of an experienced surgeon.

What to expect
Every man is different, but the path from first visit to final result follows the same arc.
01
Dr. Sayed examines the area, listens to your goals, and maps which procedures fit, surgical, non-surgical, or a combination.
02
He plans incisions where they stay hidden, around the nipple or in a natural crease, and sequences combined procedures around one safe recovery.
03
Most men's procedures are outpatient under general anesthesia or local with sedation, reshaping tissue, fat, and skin together.
04
Incisions are closed in layers so scars stay small and fine and the contour holds.
05
You go home the same day with a compression garment for chest or body work, and Dr. Sayed follows you closely.
06
Swelling eases over weeks and the final, firmer result shows over the following months.
All surgery carries risks: bleeding, infection, swelling, fluid collection, changes in nipple or skin sensation, contour irregularities, and healing problems, which are higher in smokers.
Most are uncommon and temporary, and Dr. Sayed explains how technique and aftercare lower each one.
If you are still losing weight, your tissue may still be changing, or your concern is mild, he may recommend waiting or starting with non-surgical options.
The goal is always the right procedure at the right time, not the most surgery.
Procedures
Explore each procedure, or start with a consultation and let Dr. Sayed recommend the combination that fits you.
Men's plastic surgery spans the chest, abdomen, flanks, face, and neck. These are the core procedures, each with its own page.
Start with gynecomastia surgery
Removes enlarged male breast tissue and excess fat for a flatter, firmer chest.
Hidden incisions around the nipple edge.
The most-requested men's procedure.
Liposuction removes stubborn fat from the belly, flanks, and chest; body contouring firms the torso.
For fat that resists diet and the gym.
A leaner, more defined torso.
Restores a sharp jawline and firmer neck while keeping a masculine, natural look.
Subtle, not tightened or overdone.
Skin removal after weight loss also offered.
Gynecomastia surgery. Enlarged or puffy male breast tissue.
Male liposuction. Stubborn chest, belly, and flank fat.
Male body contouring. A leaner torso and skin tightening after weight loss.
Male facelift and neck lift. A sharper jawline and firmer neck.

Cost
Compare quotes on what is included: the surgeon, anesthesia, the facility, garments, and follow-up. A low number that leaves these out is not the real price.
Costs vary by procedure. As a rough guide in Southern California, gynecomastia surgery often runs about $5,000 to $9,000, male liposuction about $4,000 to $9,000, and a male facelift about $15,000 to $30,000. Dr. Sayed gives a firm quote after your consultation.
Which procedure. Gynecomastia or one area of liposuction costs less than a facelift or a combined plan.
Combining procedures. Addressing several areas together adds cost but saves on a second anesthesia and recovery.
Anesthesia and facility. Longer, combined surgery means more operating-room time.
Surgeon experience. A double board-certified surgeon is priced accordingly, and it shows in the result.
Financing. Monthly payment plans through third-party lenders spread the cost.

Recovery
Recovery depends on the procedure, but most men's surgery follows a similar arc: up and walking the same day, back to desk work in a few days to a week, and the gym in about four to six weeks.
Surgery day
Outpatient, home the same day with a compression garment for chest or body work, and manageable soreness.
First week
Rest and gentle walking. Desk work resumes in days for most men; keep the garment on as directed.
Weeks 2 to 3
Most men are back to normal daily activity, still wearing the garment for chest or body work.
Weeks 4 to 6
Light workouts resume, then full training once Dr. Sayed clears you.
Months 2 to 6
Swelling fully resolves and the final, firmer result settles.
Compression. Wear the garment as directed to control swelling and support the new shape.
Scars. Placed around the nipple or in natural creases, they fade over about a year.
Walking. Early, gentle walking lowers clot risk and helps healing.
The gym. Full training once cleared, usually around four to six weeks.
Weight. A stable weight keeps the result looking its best.
Final result. Natural and settled over several months as swelling resolves.

Questions
The core range for men: gynecomastia surgery (male breast reduction), male liposuction, male body contouring, and a male facelift and neck lift, plus skin removal after major weight loss.
It depends on what has changed. Small pockets of fat can respond to non-surgical contouring, but true glandular tissue in gynecomastia, loose skin, or fat the gym cannot shift usually needs surgery.
Yes, and many men do. Gynecomastia surgery pairs with flank liposuction; a facelift pairs with a neck lift. Dr. Sayed plans combined procedures around one safe recovery.
That is the priority. Dr. Sayed keeps the chest and jawline masculine and the torso lean, so the result looks fit and natural rather than overdone.
It varies by procedure, but most men are back to desk work in a few days to a week and the gym by about four to six weeks, with swelling settling over months.
Men's incisions are small and hidden, around the nipple edge for gynecomastia or in natural creases for the face. They heal as fine lines and keep fading over about a year.
Healthy adults at a stable weight with realistic goals are usually candidates. Good general health and not smoking matter, and it is best to be near your goal weight first.
It depends on the procedure. As a rough Southern California guide, gynecomastia runs about $5,000 to $9,000, male liposuction about $4,000 to $9,000, and a male facelift about $15,000 to $30,000.
You do not have to decide alone. Describe what bothers you, and Dr. Sayed maps it to the right procedure or combination, often a simpler one than you expect.
Most men describe tightness and soreness rather than sharp pain, controlled with medication in the first days. Chest and body work is sorest early and eases quickly.
Yes. Dr. Sayed performs body-contouring surgery for men after major weight loss, removing loose skin and firming the torso and chest.
With a stable weight, results are long-lasting. Gynecomastia and skin removal are essentially permanent, though skin ages; large weight changes affect the result.
Yes. Dr. Sayed performs a male facelift, neck lift, and other facial procedures for men, tuned to a masculine, natural result. See the face section for details.
