Men's Plastic Surgery, Newport Beach

Men's Plastic Surgery in Newport Beach

Most men who ask about plastic surgery want to look like themselves, only fitter or more rested. At your Newport Beach consultation, Tim Sayed MD examines your concern, explains whether surgery is the right tool, and outlines the options for the chest, body, and face.

Choose your consultation office with follow-up in mind. If you consult in Newport Beach, your follow-ups are at 3991 MacArthur Boulevard, Suite 320, Newport Beach, CA 92660. Surgery is performed only in accredited operating rooms separate from both consultation offices, not at the MacArthur Boulevard office.

Ask about cases similar to yours, which procedure he would recommend first, and how complications are managed.

Abdomen and flanks

Face and neck

A male facelift and neck lift restore a sharp jawline while keeping a masculine look.

Non-surgical

Non-surgical options treat smaller concerns when surgery is not yet needed.

Procedures

Firm gland tissue, loose skin, and significant laxity generally need surgery. Mild concerns may respond to non-surgical treatments, lifestyle changes, or no treatment. When medications or hormones may be contributing—for example, to gynecomastia—evaluation of the cause may come first.

Combining procedures, such as gynecomastia surgery with liposuction, can mean one recovery but can also lengthen surgery and change risk. Ask whether combining is right for you.

Men's procedures Dr. Sayed performs

Many men's plans combine two procedures, planned around your safety and a single recovery. Dr. Sayed maps it out with you at the consultation.

Consultation

What to bring to your Newport Beach consultation

Bring a list of medications and supplements—including testosterone, anabolic steroids, or other hormones—your weight history, and any prior procedures. Note which area bothers you most.

Ask which procedure addresses the cause of your concern, whether combining procedures is appropriate, and how long you would need away from work and training.

The reverse is also true. Once tissue or skin has truly changed, no device replaces surgery. Knowing where that line sits is the value of an experienced surgeon.

Men's surgery risks

All surgery carries risks, including bleeding, infection, anesthesia complications, scarring, numbness, contour irregularities, asymmetry, blood clots, and the need for further surgery. Men undergoing a facelift have a higher risk of hematoma than women. Each procedure's page lists its specific risks.

Nicotine use, anabolic steroids, blood thinners, and uncontrolled blood pressure can increase risk. Seek urgent care for chest pain, shortness of breath, leg swelling, or rapidly increasing swelling.

Cost

Men's surgery cost for Newport Beach patients

Cost depends on the procedure and on whether procedures are combined. The current published guides are about $5,000–$9,000 for gynecomastia surgery, $4,000–$9,000 for male liposuction, and $12,000–$30,000 or more for a male facelift; see each procedure page for details. The same guide applies at both consultation offices; it is not a Newport Beach-specific market price.

Request a written quote for your proposed plan. Ask which fees it includes, such as the surgeon's fee, anesthesia, and facility fees, and what could add to the cost. Insurance rarely covers cosmetic surgery; check with your insurer if a functional concern is involved.

Recovery

Recovery and follow-up at the MacArthur Boulevard office

Recovery depends on the procedure. Many men return to desk work within several days after liposuction or gynecomastia surgery; a male facelift often takes about two weeks before men feel socially comfortable, and skin-removal procedures can take longer. Training usually resumes in stages over several weeks, once cleared.

Follow individual instructions on compression garments, lifting, and driving.

What men's procedures does Dr. Sayed perform?

Gynecomastia surgery, male liposuction, male body contouring, and male facelift and neck lift. Facial procedures such as eyelid surgery and rhinoplasty are also performed for men.

Should I have surgery or a non-surgical treatment?

It depends on the cause. Gland tissue and loose skin generally need surgery; mild concerns may respond to non-surgical options or lifestyle changes.

How much does men's plastic surgery cost for Newport Beach patients?

It depends on the procedure. Current published guides are about $5,000–$9,000 for gynecomastia surgery, $4,000–$9,000 for male liposuction, and $12,000–$30,000 or more for a male facelift. The same guide applies at both offices; request a written quote for your plan.

Can I combine men's procedures?

Often, yes—for example, gynecomastia surgery with liposuction. Combining changes surgery time, recovery, cost, and risk.

Will the results look natural?

The goal is a natural, masculine result. Results depend on anatomy, technique, and healing, and they vary.

How long is recovery from men's surgery?

From several days of desk-work downtime for liposuction or gynecomastia surgery to about two weeks or more for a facelift or skin removal.

Where are the scars?

Liposuction and gynecomastia scars are usually small; facelift and skin-removal scars are longer. Scars fade over time, but healing varies.

What our patients say on Google

4.6Based on 37 Google reviewsRatings and reviews from Google MapsI am so grateful to have found Dr. Sayed! I did a lot of research beforehand and took my time to find the right plastic surgeon for me. I had a breast lift and augmentation. I was looking for a more natural look and nothing too drastic. Dr. Sayed’s bedside manner is very reassuring. He always takes the time to thoroughly answer all my questions, while providing a great deal of knowledge about the procedure. I am beyond happy with my results and I feel more confident than ever! Thank you, Dr. Sayed and his wonderful team! They have been absolutely fantastic every step of the way!Sheri SummersGoogle review · a year agoThe staff at Dr. Sayed’s office was very helpful from start to finish. Their professionalism was outstanding and I felt very comfortable from the first day that I walked into his office for consultation. Dr. Sayed made me feel very confident in his procedures and reassured me that I would be well taken care of. Dr. Sayed is a true artist and really cares about his work. He has a compassionate demeanor not only during consultation but every step of the way assuring me that I was in good hands. The emotional support that I received from staff members far exceeded my expectations. My breast explant surgery went according to schedule with no problems and 100% satisfaction.Jessica HollowayGoogle review · 3 years agoI had my first set of implants 15 years ago and received my second set of implants 3 years ago after having a single mastectomy due to breast cancer. When I discovered the breast implant illness group and associated website so many of my mysterious symptoms/illnesses seemed to make sense. I also discovered (not having been told by my previous surgeons) that implants are not lifetime devices and need to be replaced every 10 -15 years. I decided that I did not want to keep going under anesthesia every 10 years or so and if removing them could add quality to my life (I'm only 46) having them removed was worth it. Finding a surgeon that had the experience, confidence and care needed for my situation was not easy. Dr. Sayed was the fourth surgeon I met with in the San Diego area and the only one who met all of my needs. He and his staff are kind, caring and skilled. Even knowing that I had already had several consults, he explained the full process to me as though it were my first, which really put me at ease with his level of knowledge and skill. I am 3 months post-op and I am very happy with my decision to have my surgery with Dr. Sayed. The procedure itself went smoothly and recovery has been fairly easy. Dr. Sayed is truly a skilled surgeon and I highly recommend him.Sarah GGoogle review · 4 years agoRead all 37 Tim Sayed MD reviews on Google Review your visit on Google
